Private Therapy
At Luna’s Fund, we understand that every family’s journey is unique, and some of you may wish to access additional, private therapeutic support alongside the services we provide.

While NHS and other free support services offer valuable care, waiting lists can sometimes make it difficult to receive timely help when it is most needed.
To help meet this need, we work with a small number of trusted, independent counsellors who offer compassionate, specialist support to families.
The professionals listed below share our values of empathy, understanding, and high quality care, and are available to be contacted directly for private sessions.
Kate Stanton Counselling
As an experienced, qualified integrative counsellor, registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), Kate offers counselling therapy, “in person” in Tiverton, Devon, online, or over the phone.
Prior to training as a counsellor, Kate worked as a nurse, specialising in end of life care and support and working with children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Listening was at the heart of the care she gave, and remains at the heart of her work as a counsellor.

Her counselling practice sits alongside her work as a passionate and experienced trainer and facilitator with two leading bereavement support charities, Sands and Child Bereavement UK, and her work as a tutor for the Certificate Course in Counselling at Ironmill College in Exeter.

There is a Light Therapy

Lee's way of working is calm, supportive and down to earth. Sessions with him are about real conversations that help you make sense of things, reduce anxiety and feel more in control. Together, you Lee will work towards helping you feel stronger, more confident and ready to move forward in life.
If you are looking for counselling in Cornwall or online therapy across the UK, Lee provides a safe and confidential space where you can talk openly and start to feel better.
Julie Lee Therapy
I’m Julie Lee a Counsellor, Clinical Supervisor, EMDR Therapist, Author and Trainer, dedicated to helping women find strength, resilience, and hope after baby loss and birth trauma.
My work is rooted in compassion and creating safe spaces for healing, whether in one to one therapy, group support, or professional supervision.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is at the heart of much of my work. It is a proven therapy recommended by NHS England’s NICE Guidelines for trauma treatment, and it can be a powerful tool in gently processing distressing memories so they no longer hold the same weight.

Alongside my work in perinatal mental health, I also provide Clinical Supervision for Counsellors and Reflective Practice groups for organisations, including NHS teams.
These spaces offer professionals the chance to pause, process, and reflect, supporting both emotional wellbeing and effective practice.

My mission is to transform the experience of women negotiating baby loss, birth trauma, and rainbow pregnancies by offering calm, compassionate guidance and practical support that helps them feel stronger, more resilient, and less alone.

Aimee Green talks all things Luna's Fund in her first podcast
Aimee was invited by Matt from One Set of Footprints to join him in an open and honest conversation at Fresh Air Studios about all things Luna’s Fund. Our mission, hopes for the future, the heart behind what we do and how to cope with grief.

Aimee spoke about the raw realities of grief after baby loss, the emotional rollercoaster of pregnancy after loss, and the deep importance of supporting dads who are overlooked and underrepresented through their own silent pain.

She also shared our vision for better bereavement care, how Luna’s Fund helps families find light in their darkest moments, and the passion that continues to drive our work every single day.

Grab a cuppa and a blanket, or your headphones and the dog for a walk and enjoy. Thank you so much Matt for taking an interest in our charity, the work we do and for this amazing opportunity.
