Finlake Resort & Spa in Devon offers spacious, self catering log cabins set in a beautiful lakeside environment, perfect for families seeking a peaceful and private getaway. Located within easy reach of Plymouth, the resort provides a safe and relaxing setting surrounded by nature.

• We offer a three night stay in one of their family friendly log cabins. Check in is on Friday from 4pm, with check out on Monday at 10am. If you need to leave earlier due to work or other commitments, that’s absolutely fine.

​

• All bookings come with flexible amendment, meaning your stay can be rescheduled before arrival if needed. We understand that grief and family circumstances can be unpredictable, so we aim to remain as flexible as possible. 

​

• The cabins are available with multiple bedrooms, giving you plenty of space to relax as a couple, with your children, or as a larger family. If you are bringing siblings, please let us know, so we can prepare any necessary baby or toddler equipment, including a highchair and/or travel cot.

• Finlake is pet friendly, but please let us know in advance so we can reserve a cabin suitable for your furry family members.

​

• Each cabin is equipped with modern comforts, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living areas, and a hot tub for relaxing evenings. Complimentary wifi, movies, and TV packages are included to ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.​

• Finlake Resort & Spa also offers a variety of optional activities. Once your booking is confirmed, you can contact the resort directly to add these extras (these are payable separately).

• Enjoy the natural surroundings, explore walking trails, and watch local wildlife from the comfort of your cabin or while strolling around the lakes. The setting is ideal for families to spend quality time together in a peaceful environment.

• We are always sorry to ask, but please do not be alarmed if we request evidence relating to your baby. This is a legal requirement to maintain an audit trail for the Charity Commission, ensuring the charity’s funds are used appropriately.

• Your getaway can be taken whenever feels right. Whether immediately after leaving the hospital, following your baby’s funeral, or to commemorate their due date. We hope this serene family retreat provides comfort, rest, and a small glimmer of hope during difficult times.
