1. The Lead Up And The Labour Of Luna Valentina Conroy
Every Wednesday is a struggle for us. This day combined with the 29th of the month just hits us, so we’ve renamed it ‘Wobbly Wednesday.’ I decided that seeing as there’s no 29th of February, it’s a Wednesday, and exactly 13 weeks (unlucky for some) since the day, now is the perfect time to conquer my negative emotions with ‘Wobbly Wednesday’s.’ Currently looking out to our garden covered in a perfect layer of fresh snow, from the comfort of our living room I plan to share wit

2. The Living Nightmare… Our New Reality
I’m sat in my cosy corner, surrounded by plaques, quotes and happy things. My happy place. It’s the only part of the house I can escape the sound of the washing machine and dishwasher, the dog playing and Ryan watching golf videos. 🙄 I listen to the birds from the nearby woods as I relive the worst day of my entire life. “I feel sick even taking myself back there, everything is so raw and memorable.” The positive side of me believes that Luna’s big movement was her saying go

3. Saying Goodbye; Leaving The Hospital As A 2
“Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we deal with it.” I recently changed my Instagram bio to include this quote. I was having an Instagram stalk and quickly realised how behind time, fashion, latest trends, make up tutorials, gym clothing, bikini bodies, breaks ups, make ups and life in general that I was, and in the midst I came across this quote on my explore page. How very appropriate. ❤️ But it’s never that easy is it, I forgot to mention that in between this I st

4. The ‘How To Get Out Of Bed In The Morning’ Days…
So I’ve only just realised (a common trend from my last post) that for the last 23 and a half years I’ve been saying and spelling hindsight as heinsight… 😂 The same as I thought that trick or treat was ‘trickle treat’ (and I’m sure I can think of more) so I do apologise. 😁 We are home from an amazing break in Essex, visiting family, having dinners and shopping. What more could I want?! But we’ve loved nothing more than being back in our low key bubble. I’m sat on the sofa i

5. The Putting Off, Planning, Preparing, And The Damn Right Perfection Of Luna’s Service…
*Warning*Warning*Warning* 1) In order to read this post you must have a Disney movie ready for when you’ve finished! 2) There is even more swearing in this one than the last! 😁 3) It’s a long one so hang in there! 4) I’ve cried 8 times already looking back at ‘the photos’ that I have to use for this post, so tissues are a definite requirement! 😩 I have the biggest wave of sickness as I type, as this is probably the worst mental and emotional state I have ever been in… Trans

6. The Ups And Downs Of Welcoming Home The One And Only; Saint Conroy…
I’m going to be honest, I really have struggled this past week. Having published part 5 it was a real accomplishment and at the time I felt so relieved. It had played on my mind for weeks before, (from the very beginning of when I started blogging) questioning how I would even be able to release it on paper, and wondering what to write without sounding overly depressing. But it’s been the days since releasing it off my chest and into the world, that have hit me the most as I

7. Reconnecting With The Body That Had Let Me Down And The Mind That Was Crumbling…
I apologise to those who prefer my blogs with enough pictures to tell the story, as this isn’t one of them! I definitely didn’t take any photos around this time (trust me you’re lucky I didn’t 🙈) but next weeks blog will have double to make up for it! Wobbly Wednesdays seem to be a thing of the past and replaced with Winning Wednesdays! It’s not such a gloomy day anymore as something amazing always seems to come from a Wednesday. It’s been 19 weeks, nearly 5 months. I am fee

8. Cyprus; The Destination That Gave Us Hope And That Will Soon Take My Surname!
I’ve wondered how on Earth I would find the allocated time this blog deserves to write everything that I want to include having returned to work just 2 days ago (that’s for a blog itself 🙈). So I’ve taken Ry’s advice and I’m going to keep this one short and sweet (he knows all about that 😁) and use photos to tell the story to make up for the last couple of ‘photo-less’ blogs. It’s the perfect topic to discuss when the weather has been so incredibly beautiful today. 😁 My fi

9. The Results Of Luna’s Sad Loss Appointment…
So the last few blogs have had a fairly positive tone throughout, but I will warn you, this one is far from it. 💔 Another Disney movie is 100% required for the completion of this blog and you might need glasses come the end, as I have written my actual life story. 😁 It’s pretty f**king depressing to put it bluntly, but one I know I have to do. I didn’t want to share this as it’s very personal and very raw. “Within this blog you will find out the reasons why I am even writin

10. Our Daughter, Our Dot, Our Diamond; My Blog, My Baby, My Best Friend.
It’s a bright sunny evening as I lay in the conservatory with the sun on my face, ready to share part 10 with you. There are a lot more photos, a little less swearing, but a few more words (you will see towards the end why that is), so welcome! 😁 We received a very precious parcel this week, just in time for this very precious blog. “What impeccable timing you have Luna Valentina.” ❤️ In preparation for this once in a lifetime occasion, I had spent weeks and weeks trawling t
