Become a volunteer
Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. By giving your time, skills, and enthusiasm, you can help make a real difference in our community while gaining valuable experience and meeting new people.

Whether you can volunteer regularly or occasionally, every contribution matters. Our volunteers support events, help deliver activities, provide practical assistance, and bring fresh ideas that help our organisation grow and thrive.

Volunteering is a rewarding way to connect with others, develop new skills, and play an active role in supporting the work we do.
Why volunteer with us?
Volunteering offers many benefits for both the community and the volunteers themselves. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to:

-
Make a positive impact in your local community
-
Meet new like-minded people and build meaningful connections
-
Develop new skills and gain valuable experience
-
Contribute your ideas and talents
-
Be part of a friendly and supportive team

We aim to ensure that all volunteers feel welcomed, valued, and supported throughout their volunteering journey.

We offer a range of volunteering opportunities to suit different interests, skills, and availability. These may include:

Volunteer Committee
Our Volunteer Committee helps guide and support volunteering across the organisation. The committee works to ensure volunteers are well supported, that opportunities are meaningful, and that volunteering remains inclusive and accessible.

Members of the committee help review volunteering practices, support new initiatives, and provide feedback from the volunteer community.

Further information about the role and responsibilities of the committee can be found in the Volunteer Committee Terms of Reference.
